Our factory

Established on the GARDEL site for over 150 years, our sugar factory is a subtle blend of authenticity and modernity .
Over the years, it has evolved in line with its changing strategy.
Once dedicated solely to the production of sugars for refining, the factory is now moving more and more towards the manufacture of top-of-the-range consumer sugars for the food industry.
A tour of our site reveals both steel machines steeped in history and state-of-the-art stainless steel equipment, testimony to our perpetual modernization.
However, it’s still a little early to get a chance to visit our sugar factory.
Our safety requirements do not yet allow us to open the site to the public, but the project is underway and visits will soon be possible.

The sugar house

Taste Guadeloupe

An avenue of coconut palms bathed in sunshine, and in the background, a Creole house that exudes the soul of Guadeloupe.
La Maison du Sucre is much more than a store: it’s an immersion in our heritage. You’ll discover our sugar, our rum, and an authentic selection of local products that celebrate the savoir-faire of our island.
